Storing the parquet:
The parquet must be stored in a closed and dry room, sheltered from the direct sun and lifted on a wooden palette or similar, in order to avoid the contact with the foundation. The temperature in the room in which the parquet is stored should be from 18°C to 20°C.

Laying down the parquet:
Before commencing with laying down the parquet, all the ceramics and varnishing works should have been done, the foundation on which the parquet is to be laid down has to be clean, firm, flat and with maximum humidity up to 2%, which necessary needs to be established by a measuring instrument. The relative humidity in the premises in which the parquet is to be laid down before and after laying down the parquet must be between 50 and 60 %; we recommend to use the air moisturizers and dryers to maintain the air humidity through the whole year.
The parquet is packed in the thermo contracting foil that ensures the maintenance of the ideal parquet humidity, between 7 and 10%. Do not open the packages with the parquet before starting laying down the parquet!
Before laying down the parquet it is recommended to firm the foundation additionally by impregnating it with polyurethane coats, and to additionally protect the floor from the residual humidity. The parquet in the length of 360 mm is to be laid down on the regular parquet adhesive, whereas the longer parquets have to be laid down to the two-components adhesives or a one-component permanently elastic adhesive. After laying down the parquet needs to be left 2-3 days to adjust to the space, and only after the parquet “calms down” the final processing, sanding, varnishing etc. can start.

Parquet maintenance:
The relative humidity of the rooms in which the parquet has been laid down should be from 50 to 60 %, and the temperature in the premises should be from 20°C to 25°C. Maintain the floor with a dry and damped cloth, and chemical means intended for this purpose. Be careful for the mechanical damages and abrasions that can be caused by small stones that someone might bring in, or by other sharp objects.
